I’m a NYC-based journalist and copywriter. I’m also a Sunshine State native and slow (but enthusiastic) biker.

I currently work as a staff-writer for the environmental nonprofit Natural Resources Defense Council. As part of a nimble editorial team, I tell people-driven stories that connect readers to our advocacy issues, which range from the climate crisis and drinking water contamination to regenerative ag and environmental justice. I write quick-turnaround breaking news stories, deep-dive guides, and just about everything in between. I also regularly craft copy for institutional products, like NRDC’s annual report or member newsletters.

In the past, I’ve led high-energy creative writing workshops for NYC public school students with the educational nonprofit 826NYC. (Brooklyn folks might know it better as the Superhero Supply Store in Park Slope.) I’ve also assisted in editing higher-education economic textbooks with the publisher Macmillan Learning and written for both community magazines and local newspapers as a student in Gainesville, Florida.

I’m a graduate of the University of Florida’s journalism program and am available for freelance work + collaboration.
